Calicut University M.Sc Admissions 2012-13

School of Health Sciences, University of Calicut has issued notification for admission into Post Graduation in the following Courses for academic year 2012 – 13. There are 69 seats in total. Candidates with qualification in Graduation in Medical Laboratory Technology / Medical Biochemistry / Microbiology / Botany / Zoology with 50 percent marks in aggregate are eligible. Duration of the course is two years. See details of courses below:

1. M.Sc. in Medical Biochemistry : 23 seats.
2. M.Sc. in Medical Laboratory Tehnology : 23 seats (Bio chemistry, Microbiology and Immunology, haematology and Transfusion Technology, Cytology and Cytogenetics)
3. M.Sc. in Medical Microbiology : 23 seats.

Prescribed application forms are available on the University Website : www.universityofcalicut.info. The application fee is Rs. 300 and this has to be paid in the form of DD drawn in favour of Finance Officer, University of Calicut and payable at SBT Calicut University.

Downloaded filled in application form along with attested copies of certificates / mark lists for proof of age, qualification and experience, cast certificate and fee DD should be sent to the Director, School of Health Sciences, University of Calicut, Calicut University.P.O., Pin – 673 635. Last date for the submission of application form is 7th, September, 2012.

IIT JAM Biotechnology Previous Question Papers Download

Biotechnology is the most sought after Post Graduate and Research programme in IITs and IISc Bangalore. Admission to M.Sc, Joint M.Sc – Ph.D and Dual Degree Ph.D courses in these institutions will be through IIT JAM entrance test. Here we are giving previous question paper / model question paper of the Biotechnology (BT) held in 2012. The IIT JAM exam will be held in February every year. This Biotechnology question paper will be useful for the candidates appearing for IIT JAM Biotech Paper in 2013 and also for further years.

There will be 100 questions in the JAM Biotech question paper. All the question will be in objective multiple choice type. There will be negative marking for wrong answer. Questions will be in the standard of Graduation syllabus. Following is the JAM question paper 2012 for Biotechnology:
