Indian School of Mines – PG and Ph.D Programmes 2016

Online applications are invited by the Indian School of Mines (ISM), Dhanbad for admissions into M.Sc. Tech., M.Sc and Ph.D programmes for the academic year 2016-17. The selection process will consist of entrance test and interview.

1. M.Sc.Tech : 106 seats (Applied Geology and Applied Geophysics).
Duration : 3 years.
Eligibility : Degree in relevant branch.

2. M.Sc : 150 seats (Physics, Chemistry, Maths and Computing).
Duration : 2 years.
Eligibility : Graduation in relevant discipline.

3. Ph.D programmes in Engineering, Applied Science, Humanities and Management.
Duration : 3 years.
Eligibility : Masters Degree in relevant discipline.

Candidates are required to apply online through website : www.ismdhanbad.ac.in. Closing date for the submission of online application is 11th April, 2016. Entrance test will be held on 15th May, 2016.

Centre for Human Genetics – M.Sc Programmes 2016

Centre for Human Genetics (CHG), Bangalore has announced notification for admissions into M.Sc in Human Design Genetics programme for the academic year 2016-17. The application fee should be paid in the form of DD drawn in favour of Centre for Human Genetics and payable at Bangalore.

Course : M.Sc in Human Design Genetics programme
Eligibility : Graduation in Biological Science. Candidates who are studying of their final year Degree may also eligible to apply.
Selection process : Entrance test and interview.
Date of entrance test : Online test will be held on 13th March, 2016 and 15th May, 2016.
Date of interview : Between 1st and 8th June, 2016.

Duly filled in application form along with relevant documents should reach the Admissions Office, Centre for Human Genetics, Biotech Park, Electronic City Phase 1, Bangalore – 560 100. Last date for the submission of completed application form is 2nd March, 2016.
