JAM Biotech Question Paper

IIT - JAM Exam Joint Admission Test for M.Sc (JAM 2017) notification has been announced for admission into various PG and Ph.D Dual Degree programmes in IITs for the academic year 2017-18. JAM 2017 is being organised by GATE – JAM Office, New Delhi.

Test Papers and Mode of Examination:

JAM 2017 examination will have seven test papers, in the subjects of Biological Sciences (BL), Biotechnology (BT), Chemistry (CY), Geology (GG), Mathematics (MA), Mathematical Statistics (MS) and Physics (PH). The duration of the exam is three hours.

Online Exam:

JAM 2017 examination will be conducted in online mode only for all the test papers. Candidates can appear in either one or two test papers depending on the test schedule. JAM 2017 will be held on February 12, 2017 (Sunday).

Application Procedure:

The information brochure and all other information related to JAM 2017 will be updated time to time on the website jam.iitd.ac.in. Candidate can register and apply online mode only for JAM 2017 from September 05, 2016 to October 06, 2016.

Biotechnology is the most sought after Post Graduate and Research programme in IITs and IISc Bangalore. Admission to M.Sc, Joint M.Sc – Ph.D and Dual Degree Ph.D courses in these institutions will be through IIT JAM entrance test. Here we are giving previous question paper / model question paper of the Biotechnology (BT) held in 2012. The IIT JAM exam will be held in February every year. This Biotechnology question paper will be useful for the candidates appearing for IIT JAM Biotech Paper in 2013 and also for further years.

There will be 100 questions in the JAM Biotech question paper. All the question will be in objective multiple choice type. There will be negative marking for wrong answer. Questions will be in the standard of Graduation syllabus. Following is the JAM question paper 2012 for Biotechnology:
