NCHMCT Admissions 2011-12 for M.Sc. Hospitality Administration

National Council for Hotel Management and Catering Technology (NCHMCT) has issued admission notification 2011 for M.Sc. Hospitality Administration to be offered in association with Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU), New Delhi. Duration of the course is two years and offered in full time mode only. The course is offered at Institute of Hotel Management, New Delhi (Pusa) and it’s center at Bengaluru. Following are details of eligibility and application procedure:

Eligibility and qualifications: Applicants should have B.Sc. Degree in Hospitality and Hotel Administration from NCHMCT and IGNOU; Candidates with Bachelors Degree in Hotel Management and Catering Technology from any AICTE recognised institutes also can apply. Regular faculty of IHM affiliated to NCHMCT with two years of teaching experience and having good track record of teaching and possessing above eligibility requirements can also apply. They have to forward their applications through Principal of the Institute.

Application Procedure: Interested candidates can download application form and brochure containing program details and other information from the official website www.nchmct.org. Filled in application forms along with all relevant attested copies of testimonials and mark sheets and a DD for Rs.900/- (Rs.450/- for SC/ ST/ PH Category candidates) drawn in favour of ‘National Council for Hotel Management and Catering Technology, payable at Noida / New Delhi should be send to ‘Director (A&F), National Council for Hotel Management and Catering Technology (NCHMCT), A-34, Sector 62, Noida- 201 301 (Uttar Pradesh). Seats available is 25 in each institute. Selection of the candidates will be based on the marks obtained in qualifying examinations. Reservations apply as per the rules of the Government. Candidates those admitted into the course having with 60 percent and above marks in qualifying examination will receive fellowship of Rs.7000/- per month for 1st Semester. NPTI Neyveli Post Diploma in Thermal Power Plant Engineering Admissions 2011-12

National Power Training Institute (NPTI), Neyveli (Southern Region) has announced admission notification 2011-12 for its prestigious programme called Post Diploma in Thermal Power Plant Engineering (PDTPPE) for the academic session 2011-12 . The NPTI is a specialised education and training institute established to cater the needs of power industry. The NPTI is functioning under the aegis of Ministry of Power, Government of India. The Post Diploma course is exclusively designed for Diploma engineers to enhance their employability and domain knowledge. Following are details such as eligibility, course fee and application procedure:

Eligibility Requirements for Post Diploma in Thermal Power Engineering: Applicants should have three years Diploma in Mechanical / Electrical / Electronics / Power Control and Instrumentation Engineering or equivalent with at least 60 percent marks. Selection of the candidates for the programme will be based on marks in Diploma only. Graduate engineers are not eligible for this programme. There will be no entrance test. There are 77 seats in total and some seats are reserved for sponsored candidates. Applicants age should be below 27 years as on 30-09-2011.

Interested and eligible candidates can apply on the plain paper in the prescribed format. Applications forms can also be downloaded from www.npti.in OR www.nptisr.com. Completed application forms along with a DD for Rs. 700/- drawn in favour of NPTI, and payable at Neyveli should reach the ‘Principal Director, National Power Training Institute (SR), Neyveli – 607803’. Last date for the receipt of filled in applications is 23rd September 2011. Dates of counseling will be informed to the candidates through email.

Course Fee for non-sponsored candidates is Rs.110000 and for sponsored candidates, fee is Rs. 150000.
