National Power Training Institute (NPTI), Nagpur has issued notification for admission into Post Diploma in Thermal Power Plant Engineering 17th batch for the academic year 2016-17. The details are given below:
Duration of the course is one year (2 semesters) and covers all aspects of Operation, Maintenance, Performance, Erection and Commissioning of Thermal Power Plant. The course also includes on-job-training and shall be conducted at the nearby Power Stations. The Course also includes 210 MW Simulator Training.
Eligibility: Candidates should have passed in three years Diploma or equivalent in Mechanical/ Electrical/ Electrical and Electronics (EEE).
Selection Procedure: Selection of the candidates will be as per the merit in diploma. No age limit for this program.
Total seats: 65 (Sixty Five).

Course fee: Rs. 1,66,750/- (Rs. 1,45,000/- + Service Tax @15%) (in two equal installment) for non-sponsored candidates. The fee for sponsored candidates is Rs. 2,53,000/- (Rs. 2,20,000/- + Service Tax@15%).
