Center for Research, Anna University, Chennai has announced Ph.D admission notification for the academic session January 2019. Candidates need to apply online only through annauniv.edu .

Eligibility:

Candidates need Masters Degree in the discipline concerned. They should have secured at least 55 percent marks in the qualifying examination. M.S By Research candidates also eligible for this program.

Courses and Educational Qualifications:

Ph.D in Engineering / Technology: Need ME / M.Tech / MS By Research in the branch of Engineering and Technology.

Ph.D Degree in Science and Humanities: M.Sc / MA English / Communication / Mass Communication / Journalism / Media Arts / Humanities / MCA.

Ph.D in Management Studies: MBA / Post Graduate Diploma in Business Management or Administration by IIMs / MS by Research in Management Sciences.

Ph.D in Architecture and Planning: M.Arch / M.Plan / MS by Research in Architecture and Planning.

Full time / part time:

Ph.D is offered in full time and part time modes. Full time teachers of university departments and colleges and those working in R and D centers can seek admission into part time courses.

Selectin Procedure:

There will be written test for the shortlisted candidates to be conducted by Anna University, Chennai. The syllabus for the written test is available on the University website.

For all the above courses, candidates should have passed in HSC examination of any recognised board with Biology / Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry subjects. The duration of the course includes internship. Age should be more than 17 years as on 31st December 2018.

Selection:

Selection of the candidates for all the B.Sc courses will be through personal interviews. The interviews for the academic year 2018-19 will be held on 14th August 2018.
