10th Class Social Studies Model Paper as per New Syllabus of AP and Telangana

SSC Exams Photos Here is the blue print and model question paper and pattern of examination for 10th Class / SSC Social Studies public examinations 2014 – 2015 as released by SCERT. The model question paper is as per the new syllabus prescribed for 10th Class by the Governments of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana.

The question paper is for 80 marks. In this, Economics and Geography will be for 40 marks, Civics and History will be for the remaining 40 marks.

Total paper for summative assessment is for 80 marks. This includes map pointing also. Time for each paper is 2 hours and 45 minutes. Students will be given an additional 15 minutes for the reading and understanding of the question paper.

      The syllabus division and weightage is clear and given on the official websites of education departments of states. Check the same for the details.

    • Hello Manasa,
      The model question paper for AP remains same as it was in the previous year. For Telangana, there will be two papers each carrying 40 marks. Internal marks will be for 20 which includes projects and so on.

  1. Do you think that the new social syllabus is helpful for the students to know about our history and helpful for services examination ex group-I, group-II or civils?

      The changes are actually aimed at doing away with rote learning and improving creative and thinking skills among the students. It takes time to judge how far the changes in syllabus have helped the students in gaining these skills.

  2. Sir, it is already 5 months are over. we received textbooks late with new syllabus. We r trying to understand this new pattern. Atleast your model papers are tonic to us.every time so many students are requesting to publish the papers in english medium especially PHYSICS, BIOLOGY,MATHS, SOCIAL. STILL WE R IN VAIN. PLZ.. PLZ… AS SOON AS POSSIBLE WE NEED IT.
