TANCET 2011 Results will be announced on the official website of TANCET http://www.annauniv.edu/ or tnresults.nic.in. TANCET 2011 is a common entrance exam conducted for admission to Poat Graduate Professional courses such as MBA, MCA, ME, M.Tech, M.Arch, M.Plan in Govt. and Private affiliated professional colleges in Tamil Nadu. TANCET 2011 Results and Counseling Schedule is likely to be released during third week of June 2011. Anna University will supervise the entire admission process through TANCET.

Along with Tamil Nadu, candidates from Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka and Kerala also appear for TANCET Entrance Exam seeking admission in professional colleges in Tamil Nadu. The TANCET 2011 was conducted on 29th and 30th May 2011. TANCET 2011 Results may also be available on results.nic.in and Tamil Nadu Results website tnresults.nic.in or www.tndte.com. Detailed counseling schedule with Rank and Category wise schedule will also be displayed on the official websites of TANCET 2011.

Bharathiar University, Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu is inviting applications for admission into MBA and MCA programs. Selection of candidates will be based on the marks in TANCET 2011 results. Bharathiar University has separate departments for both the courses and the programs are offered for the academic year 2011-2012 through the notification released to newspapers and also displayed on www.b-u.ac.in. Following are details of eligibility and application procedure:

1. MBA: Applicants should have passed in any Degree and must have appeared for an Entrance Test conducted by TANCET, Tamil Nadu.

2. MCA: Candidates should have passed in any Degree in 10+2+3 or 4 year pattern and must have studied Mathematics / Business Mathematics at 10+2 level. Candidates with bachelors degree with 10+3 years diploma +3 years pattern with Mathematics at Diploma level or Mathematics or Statistics as on of the subjects at the degree level or pass in any Degree with Mathematics / Statistics as any one of the subjects along with TANCET 2011 score are eligible.

Interested candidates can apply online of offline. Application forms can be obtained from ‘The Registrar of the university by posts or in person on payment of Rs. 500 for each course (Rs. 250 for SC/ ST candidates). DD should be drawn in favour of ‘The Registrar, Bharathiar University’ and payable at Coimbatore. Application forms can also be downloaded from the university website www.b-u.ac.in . Filled in application forms along with TANCET 2011 scores have to be submitted with in 10 days from the date of publication of TANCET results.
