Anna University, Chennai has announced Counseling Schedule for Engineering through Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions 2011.Notification. Admission to all the Engineering Courses in Government, Aided and Private affiliated engineering colleges in Tamil Nadu will be through centralized counseling to be conducted by Anna University. Candidates will also get individual communication regarding the counseling schedule. Eligible candidates who have applied and whose total marks are mentioned as specified can appear for the counseling as per the schedule given to them. Detailed counseling schedule will also be available on the website www.annauniv.edu/tnea2011.
Candidates should bring all original certificates for verification. Candidates who have not received individual communication also should bring original certificates. Candidates whose marks have been changed after revaluation / re-totaling may attend the counseling on the day and session prescribed to their new ranks. The counseling will be conducted at the Examination Center, Anna University, Chennai. The Engineering Counseling for special reservation under sports quota is scheduled on 30th June 2011. Counseling schedule Phase I for HSC Vocational, HSC Academic Differently abled, HSC Academic candidates has been mentioned in the original notification for which link is available below (at the end of the post). Counseling schedule for the remaining vocational candidates will be announced later. Candidates have to pay an initial deposit of Rs. 5000 (Rs. 1000 for SC/ ST/SCA candidates belonging to Tamil Nadu) at the time of counseling.
