IIT JEE Advanced Extended Merit List with Reduced Cut Offs – 2018

JEE Cut Offs for 2018-19 has been cut down frastically as the qualified candidates are not available in several categories. General category cut off has been reduced to 25 from 35. With this, candidates those eligible for counseling has gone up to 31988. The Government of India has taken this key decision considering non-availability of qualified candidates in various categories. The admission counseling through JOSAA is scheduled from 15th June 2018.

The IIT Kanpur, which has conducted IIT JEE Advanced has released extended merit list (EML). The list is available on JOSSA website . With this list, the qualified candidates in JEE Advanced has gone up to 31988. As per the results announced on 10th June, only 18138 candidates only qualified for JEE Advanced counseling.

Following are the latest qualifying marks for various categories of students:

General: 90 marks
OBC category: 81 marks
SC category: 45 marks
ST Category: 45 marks
PwD category (OC / OBC / SC/ ST): 45 marks
Preparatory category: 23 marks
