Sri Chandrasekharendra Saraswathi Viswa Mahavidyalaya (SCSVMV University), Kanchipuram, Tamilnadu is inviting applications from eligible candidates for admission to various programmes for the academic year 2012-13 in the disciplines of Engineering, Technology, Sciences, Sanskrit and Indian Culture, Management, Human Resources and Commerce, Arts and Humanities, Education and Health Science. Following are details of programmes, eligibility and application procedure:

1) UG Programmes: BE (Computer Science and Engineering, Electronics and Communications, Electrical and Electronics, Mechanical, Civil, Electronics and Instrumentation and IT), BA Sanskrit, B.Ed, B.Sc (Optometry), B.Sc Computers, BCA, BAMS. Part time programmes are also available in Engineering.

2) PG Programmes: M.B.A. (Marketing, HR, Finance, Infrastructure, Tourism, Systems, Operations, Sports, Pharma and Hospital Management, International Business), Executive MBA, MCA, M.E. (Power System / Computer Integrated Manufacturing / Thermal Engineering / CSE / Power Electronics and Drives / M.A. (Sanskrit) / M.Sc. Chemistry / Maths / Physics. ME and several diploma programmes are offered in part time mode.

3) Research Courses: M.Phil Sanskrit / Mathematics / Physics / Computer Science and Ph.D. (Engineering, Science, Management, Sanskrit and Indian Culture, Commerce, Arts and Humanities). Part time programmes are available in M.Phil along with various short term IT courses.

Pandit Deendayal Petroleum University (PDPU) has announced M.Tech Admission Notification for the academic year 2012-13. PDPU has exclusive schools for Petroleum Technology, Solar Energy and School of Technology. The selection process will consist of education and research. Here are details of programmes, eligibility and application procedure:

1) M.Tech Petroleum Engineering: Candidates should have Bachelors Degree in any one of the courses like Petroleum Engineering, Petroleum Refinery Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering etc / M.Sc. or M.Tech in Applied Geology, Applied Geophysics, Petroleum Geology with Mathematics as one of the subjects at Bachelors level.

2) M.Tech Energy Systems and Technology: B.Tech or equivalent in Electronics / Electrical / Mechanical / Instrumentation / Production / Semiconductor Technology / Energy Science and Engineering / Applied Physics / Electronics / Optoelectronics etc.

3) M.Tech Nuclear Engineering: B.Tech or equivalent in Mechanical / Electrical / Electronics / Instrumentation / Civil / Chemical / Production / Metallurgical / Industrial Engineering or M.Sc in Physics / Electronics / Nuclear Physics.

All the candidates need valid GATE score at the time of admissions. Candidates with GATE score will be eligible for Research and / or Teaching Assistantship. Candidates without GATE score will be considered for Teaching Assistantship.
