IIT Kharagpur LLB Admissions 2013-14

Online applications are invited by Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Rajiv Gandhi School of Intellectual Property Law, Kharagpur for admission into LLB course for the year 2013 -14. The application fee is Rs. 1000 in the form of DD drawn in favour of IIT Khargpur payable at Khargpur which should be enclosed along with application form.

Course offered : LLB (Intellectual Properties).
Eligibility : Graduation in Engineering / Technology / Medicine or Post Graduation in Science / Pharmacy or MBA Degree with minimum 60 percent marks in aggregate.
Duration of course : 3 years.

Mode of selection : Admission test, Group discussion and interview. Candidates who have qualified in LSAT – 2011 those candidates will be shortlisted for GD / PI based on their rank in the LSAT – 2011.

Opening date and closing date for the registration of online application is 1st January and 1st March, 2013. Last date for the receipt of hard copy of application form is 10th March, 2013. Admission test will be held on 11th May, 2013.

JEE Advanced – Category wise Engineering Seats in IITs, ISM and BHU Varanasi

IITs are the most prestigious engineering institutions in India. The institutions are ranked at top positions in various Independent surveys on Engineering education. IITs conduct joint entrance examination (JEE) for admission to Graduate Engineering programmes. The JEE has been changed from 2013-14. The examination conducted for admission to IITs, ISM Dhanbad and IT – BHU Varanasi has been renamed as JEE Advanced. Candidates those qualified in JEE Main and secured place in top 20 percent candidates of the respective boards are eligible for JEE Advanced.
