Vacant Seats in IITs after JEE Counseling 2013

There are 207 vacant seats in IITs across the country after the completion of counseling process for JEE Advanced 2013 candidates. It is estimated that some seats in reputed institutions also remain vacant as on date.

There are 16 IITs in the country with 9885 seats in various branches and specialisations. The counseling process including the third phase has been completed on 15 July 2013.

Some seats are vacant in Indian School of Mines University (Dhanbad), IIT (BHU) etc. Seats are vacant in mining, metallurgy, architecture, geophysics, chemical engineering etc.

The IITs may display the vacancy position on the counseling website and IIT websites.

IIT Indore PG and Ph.D Admission Notification 2013

Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Indore is inviting online applications from eligible candidates for admission in to Post Graduation and Ph.D programme in various subjects for the academic session 2013 – 2014. The selection process will consist of written test and interview to be held during 16th April to 15th May, 2013.

1. M.Sc and M.Sc + Ph.D Dual Degree (Chemistry and Physics).
Qualification : Graduation in relevant discipline with JAM – 2013 qualification.

2. M.Tech and M.Tech + Ph.D Dual Degree (Communication and Signal Processing,
Production and Industrial Engineering).
Qualification : BE / B.Tech in relevant discipline with GATE score.

3. Ph.D (Chemistry, Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science Engineering, Bioscience and Bioengineering, Electrical Engineering and Mechanical Engineering).
Qualification : Post Graduation in relevant subject. Must have a valid JRF / NET / GATE score.

How to apply : Candidates are required to apply online through website : http://www.iiti.ac.in.
The hard copy of application form along with relevant documents should reach the Deputy Registrar (Academic Affairs), Indian Institute of Technology Indore, PACL Campus, 113/2 – B (Opp. to Veterinary College), Village Hernia Khedi, Indore – Mhow Road, Indore – 453 446 (M.P.) India. Closing date for the online registration is 31st March, 2013. Last date for the receipt of hard copy of application form is 9th April, 2013.
