IIT Madras HSEE 2014 for Integrated MA Admissions

Indian Institute of Technology – Madras (IITM) has issued notification for HSEE – 2014 (Humanities and Social Sciences Entrance Examination) for admission into various PG courses in the disciplines for Social Sciences and Humanities subjects for the academic year 2014-15.

Courses: Integrated MA (Development Studies, English). Number of seats: 46
Duration of the course is five years. Applicants should have Intermediate / 10+2. Selection will be based on the merit in online entrance examination.

Application fee is Rs. 1600. Interested candidates can apply online through IIT Madras website at http://hsee.iitm.ac.in . Last date for the submission of online applications is 17 January 2014.

Entrance exam will be held on 20 April 2014. Results will be declared on 14 May 2014.

IIT Madras Summer Research Fellowship Programme 2013

Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Madras has announced notification for Summer Research Fellowship Programme 2013-14. Duration of the fellowship is two months. Selected candidates will get a stipend of Rs.6500 per month.

Eligibility: BE / B.Tech / B.Sc / Integrated ME / M.Tech third year course. OR M.Sc / MA / MBA first year. Candidates should have good academic record.

Candidates will be shortlisted for interviews based on the academic merit. Interested candidates can download application forms from the website of the IITM at http://www.iitm.ac.in/ .
