IIT Madras HSEE 2018 for MA Development Studies and English Studies

IIT Madras has announced HSEE – 2018 notification for admission into Integrated MA programmes in Development Studies and Integrated MA in English Studies for the academic year 2018-19.

The Humanities and Social Sciences Entrance Examination – 2018 (HSEE) will be held on 15th April 2018 across the country.

Programmes Offered:

Integrated MA – Development Studies
Integrated MA – English Studies

Eligibility: Candidates should have 10+2 or appearing for the final year exams of the course.

Application Procedure:

Interested candidates may apply online through IIT Madras website. Last date for the submission of online applications is 24th January 2018.

IITM Summer Fellowship Programme – 2017

The IIT Madras has announced notification for Summer Fellowship Programme for the year 2017. Duration of summer fellowship programme is two months with stipend.

The programme is aimed at high quality academic research among young Engineering, Management, Sciences and Humanities students.

Eligibility Requirements: Candidates pursuing third year of BE / BTech/ BSc (Engineering)/ Integrated M.E./M.Tech programme, First Year of ME / M.Tech/ M.Sc./ M.A, MBA with outstanding academic background are eligible.

Period of the Project: 16th May 2017 to 15th July 2017.
Stipend: A sum of Rs. 6000 per month will be given as a stipend for a maximum period of 2 months.

Participating Departments:

(Engineering Departments): Aerospace Engineering, Applied Mechanics, Bio Technology, Chemical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering, Engineering Design, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Metallurgical and Materials Engineering and Ocean Engineering.

Participating Departments:

Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Humanities & Social Sciences, Management Studies.
Last date for submitting application : 28th February 2017
