After huge response to Grama / Ward Volunteers posts, AP Government is gearing up for Grama Sachivalayam / Village Secretariat recruitment notification 2019. Notification on 15th July 2019

Recruitment notification for Grama Sachivalayam / Village Secretariat posts will be released on 15th July 2019. Schedule has been prepared for the entire recruitment process.

Selection Process:

Selection of candidates for Grama Sachivalayams / Village Secretariats will be done by DSC (district selection committees) OR appropriate selection committees.

Grama Sachivalayam Jobs in AP — Grama Sachivalayam / Village Secretariat job aspirants in Andhra Pradesh are eagerly waiting for the announcement of schedule. Lakhs of candidates are likely to compete for these posts.

Selection between 20 July – 10 September 2019:

All the selection process will be conducted between 20th July and 10th September 2019. This includes receipt of online applications, verification of applications, interviews, training and appointments to Grama Sachivalayams.

Training from 15th September 2019:

Selected candidates for Grama Sachivalayam jobs will be imparted training from 15th September 2019 to 23rd September 2019. Appointment orders will be issued to the selected candidates by 25th September 2019.

Grama Sachivalayams from 2nd October:

Grama Sachivalayams will start functioning from 2nd October 2019, to mark the completion of 150th birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi. The staff of Grama Sachivalayams will play an important role in the implementation of welfare schemes.

Grama Volunteers Recruitment in AP - Complete Details

Candidates aspiring to become ward volunteers in Andhra Pradesh can apply online for the same by 10th July 2019. Government of AP has extended the last date to submit online applications for these posts.

Qualification is Intermediate:

AP Government also slashed educational qualifications for ward volunteers posts. Intermediate is the required qualification for these vacancies. Earlier it was decided to go with Degree as minimum qualification. After poor response from the candidates, the qualification is reduced.

9 lakhs applications for village / ward volunteers:

As on 5th July, the last date for online applications, more than 9 lakhs applications were received by the Government for 1.7 lakhs posts. Out of these, about 8 lakhs applications are approved and more than 40000 applications were rejected.

Another chance:

Candidates whose applications were rejected for various reasons can edit the details and apply again for the reconsideration. They can apply again by 8th July 2019.

Interview Schedule:

Interviews for grama volunteers / village volunteers will be held from 11th July 2019. Detailed schedule will be available with district authorities. Interviews will be conducted from 10 AM to 5 PM on the scheduled days.
