TSLPRB – Constable and SI Posts Qualification and Syllabus for Written Test

Telangana State Level Police Recruitment Board (TSLPRB) has issued latest notification to fill up 16,614 SI and Constable posts in various departments. Candidates in this context should have the following qualifications to apply for these posts.

Qualifications

  1. Police Constable: Candidates who have completed Intermediate or equivalent courses can apply for the posts.
  2. Sub-Inspector‌: Candidates with Graduation or equivalent qualification. Candidates with graduation from the Open University are also eligible to apply.
  3. Those who have completed Degree / Diploma courses in the relevant field are eligible for SI and Constable posts in IT, Communication etc.
  4. Those who have passed the respective courses by July 1, 2022 can also apply.

Age limit:

  1. While 18- to 22-year-olds are eligible for Constable posts, those up to 25 years of age can apply as the government has relaxed the three-year age limit.
  2. Those aged between 21 and 28 can apply for the posts of Sub-Inspector with the relaxation of the age limit.

Syllabus for Police Constable and SI Examination
The Police Constable (Civil) Preliminary Examination will ask questions on English, Arithmetic, General Science, Indian History, Indian Culture, Indian National Movement, Geographical Principles, Indian Geography, Politics, Economy, National and International Contemporary Issues, Reasoning / Mental Ability. The final written test will ask questions on the values, sensitivity, vulnerabilities, social awareness, and emotional intelligence related to the personality test in addition to the syllabus topics in the preliminary exam. There will be questions at the intermediate level.

SI (Civil / Equivalent) Preliminary Written Examination in Arithmetic, Reasoning as well as General Science in General Studies, National and International Contemporary Issues, Indian History, National Movement, Geographical Principles, Geography of India, Indian Movement, Economics, Establishment, Economics Ask questions on topics.

SI (Civil / Equivalent) Final Written Test Paper-1 asks Objective questions at class X level on Usage, Vocabulary, Grammar, Comprehension and other language skills related to English. Questions are asked on letter writing, reports, essay, reading comprehension in descriptive approach. Paper-2 contains questions on Telugu / Urdu language proficiency. Paper-3 asks questions on Arithmetic and Reasoning. Paper-4 in General Studies on General Science, National and International Contemporary Issues, Indian History, National Movement, Social, Economic, Cultural, Political Issues, Indian Geography, Indian Politics, Economy, Values ​​for Personality Testing, Sensitivity, Vulnerabilities, Social Awareness , Emotional intelligence, Telangana movement, state formation issues come to the fore.

From the Arithmetic section averages, GCB, CSS, numbers, decimal fractions, square roots – solids, miniatures, ratio – ratio, ages, percentages, profit – loss – deductions, linear interest, Practice questions on compound interest, alloys, time – work, pumps – tanks, work – wages, time – distance, trains, boats – streams, games – bets.

Areas, volumes, geometry, statistics, probability, trigonometry, matrices, etc. from the Pure Maths section are important. In addition, Pure Maths should be read by the tenth grade.

Verbal Reasoning includes Calendars, Clocks, Time Sequence, Number Test, Ranking Test, Direction Test, Number Series, Missing Numbers, Mathematical Operations, Alphabetical Test, Coding – Decoding, Blood Relation, Identifying and so on are important.

Logical reasoning should focus more on logical vendiograms, statements and arguments, statements and assumptions, assertion and reason, silosium, data sufficiency and data interpretation.

In nonverbal reasoning, cubes and dice, series, analogy, spotting, mirror images, water images, completion of figures, paper folding, paper cutting, counting figures, etc. are important.

614 Constable Posts in Abkari Branch – Post Details along with Reservation

Job fair has started in Telangana. The government, which has already issued job notifications for various departments, has recently said it will fill the vacancies in the excise department. The Police Recruitment Board has issued a notification to this effect. Accordingly, the government has decided to fill 614 constable posts in the Abkari branch. The full details of the notification are as follows.

  1. General Quota – 138 posts in General, out of which 90 posts are allotted to women
  2. EWS Quota – Reserved for 41 General and 19 Women
  3. General Quota for Ex Service Men – 16 posts
  4. MSP Quota – 8 posts in General
  5. BCA – 32 Generals, 15 women
  6. BCB – 32 Generals, 22 women
  7. BC C – 9 General
  8. BC D – 25 General
  9. BC E – 14 General
  10. SC – 59 General, reserved for 33 women
  11. ST quota – 24 General, reserved for 14 women

Application fee details

  1. BC and OC – Rs. 800.
  2. SC and ST – Rs. 400.
