Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi issued Admission Notification for the year 2012-13. JNU (www.jnuonline.in) is highly reputed university in the country with best faculty and infrastructure. JNU offers UG, PG, M.Phil and Ph.D. Courses in various disciplines an Subjects. There are four categories of admission for JNU. All these are described below along with details of programs and application process. JNU has announced admission notification for the year 2012-13. Category – A Admissions: JNU shall hold entrance exams for these courses:

1. School of International Studies:

A) M.Phil /Ph.D.: The School offer M.Phil and Ph.D. in these Centers – International Organisation, Diplomacy and Disarmament, International Politics, International Legal Studies; International Trade and Development; Political Geography; Chinese, Japanese and Korean Studies; South Asian, Central Asian, Southeast Asian and Southwest Pacific Studies; United States and Latin American Studies; European Studies; West Asian, North African and Sub- Saharan African Studies; Canadian, and Russian and Central asian studies.

B) M.A : Politics (with specialization in International Relations)
C) M.A.: Economics (with specialization in World Economy)

2. School of Language, Literature and Culture Studies:

A) M.Phil. / Ph.D.: German, Arabic, Russian, French, Persian, Urdu, Hindi, Chinese, Hindi Translation, Tamil, English, Linguistics, Japanese and Spanish.

Category B- Direct Admission to Ph.D. Programme:

JNU admits some students directly to Ph.D. programme on the basis of their performance in interview. There will be no entrance exam for this category admissions.

Category-C: JNU offer direct admissio to JRF holders into M.Phil and Ph.D. Programmes in all subjects of the School of Sciences.

Category-D : JNU hold separate entrance exam for Part Time admissons
