Visvesvaraya Technological University – Ph.D Programmes 2014

Visvesvaraya Technological University, Belgaum has announced notification for admissions into Ph.D programmes for the academic year 2014. The selection will be made through entrance test to be held on 13th July, 2014.

Research programmes : Ph.D / M.Sc in Engineering, Ph.D (Faculty of Science, Faculty of Architecture and Faculty of Management Studies).
Eligibility : M.Tech / ME / M.Arch / M.Sc / MA with GATE / NET score.
Application fee : Rs. 800 in the form of DD drawn in favour of Finance Officer, VTU, Belgam.

Duly filled in application form along with attested copies of mark and fee DD sheets should reach the Registrar, Visvesvaraya Technological University “Jnana Sangama”, Belgaum – 590 018,
Karnataka. Last date for the receipt of filled in application form is 25th June, 2014.

IIT Bombay Research Internship Awards 2013-14

Indian Institute of Bombay (IIT Bombay) is inviting applications for Research Internship Awards for the year 2013-14 in the disciplines of Engineering and Sciences. Duration of the internship is six months.

Disciplines: Mechanical Engineering, Metallurgical and Materials Engineering, Aerospace, Civil, Chemical, Electrical, Electronics, Environmental Science and Engineering, Bioscience and Bio- Engineering, Mathematics, Energy Science, Industrial Engineering, Humanities and Social Sciences, Systems and Control Engineering, Management and Physics.

Selected candidates will get a stipend of Rs. 10000 per month. Candidates should be studying in second year of PG or third year of BE / B.Tech.
