IPR and Patent Courses after B.Pharmacy and CCMB recruitment

A students asked, Hello, Good day .. This is Arjun. I will complete my Bachelors in Pharmacy by 2012, and I would like to join in intellectual property rights and patent related courses. Could you please furnish the information regarding these courses. What is its scope and future in pharma sector? One more question: How the recruitment in IPR section of CCMB ( center for cellular and molecular biology) will he held? Is it based on CSIR exam or what?

Answer: Post Graduation in Pharmacy (M.Pharmacy) is the steady option for you. But M.Pharmacy with Intellectual Property Rights and Patents may not available in many institutions. NIPER (National Pharmaceutical Education and Research) is the highly reputed institute in this category and most likely to offer the related course mentioned by you.

Coming to recruitments at CCMB, the institute recruits candidates for scientist positions through direct open recruitment.Candidates should have Ph.D in the concerned specialization along with good publications preferably. CSIR is required for JRF and SRF project positions and also for Ph.D admissions.

When is ICET Web Counseling in Andhra Pradesh

An aspirant of MBA careers is questioning.. ICET examinations were held 5 months ago. Results were announced 4 months ago. They are not conducting counseling. Over 120000 students are frustrating. we have forfeited admission in a reputed B-School to join through ICET because of financial problems. The people at APSCHE are not answering and some times they are abusing us. We came to know that the dates will be announced on 5th October, but nothing happened. No one is there to help the poor students. Sir help us by informing the counseling dates for this year.

Dear Rajesh, the ICET counseling notification has been announced. The certificate verification process is already completed and entry of web options is under progress. You did not mention whether you have missed the first counseling due to lack of information. The details of notification have been widely published on the newspapers and websites and also at apicet.nic.in .

If you have missed the first counseling due to any reason, you can participate in the second counseling. The ICET second counseling is likely to be conducted in the last week of October 2012. You need to attend for the certificate verification with all original certificates and should exercise web options as the counseling will be held in web mode.
