CCMB Hyderabad Summer Training Program 2016

Center for Cellular and Molecular Biology (CCMB) has issued notification for Summer Training Program – 2016 for the candidates who have completed graduation / appearing for the final year course. Details are given below:

Duration of the program is 8 weeks / 2 months. Candidates should have completed first year of M.Sc / third year of B.Tech / fourth year of Integrated Masters Degree.

Selection will be based on the performance in academic merit and personal interviews. Application forms can be downloaded from the website of the institute. Last date for the receipt of applications is 8th February 2016.

CCMB Hyderabad Ph.D Admissions in Biology 2012-13

Centre for Cellular and Molecular Biology (CCMB), Hyderabad is inviting applications from eligible candidates for admission to Ph.D program for the year 2013. The selected candidates will have to pursue research in the areas of modern biology such as Molecular Biology, Genetics, Genomics, Cell Biology, Epigenetics, Nanobiology, Plant Molecular Biology, Developmental Biology, Biology of Macromolecules, Biology of Infection, Protein Structure and Function, Chromatin Biology and Bioinformatics.

Qualification: Candidates with Masters Degree in any science discipline along with fellowship from any one of the agencies such as CSIR, UGC, DBT, ICMR, etc. are eligible to apply. Candidates with GATE / GPAT qualifications after Engineering / Pharmacy may also apply. MBBS candidates also can apply. Age should be below 28 years as on 7-12-2012. Relaxations apply.

Selection will be through written test and personal interview. Written test will be held on 22nd January 2013 at CCMB, Hyderabad. Interview for those qualified in written exam will be held on 23rd and 24th January 2013.
