UPSC – Combined Medical Service Jobs Notification

UPSC not only announces the annual calendar but also takes the lead in issuing notifications as mentioned. In that order, it has recently published advertisements for Combined Medical Services, Economic Service and Statistical Service jobs. These are all posts with Level-10 status. Those who are selected for these will get good salary as well as good status from the beginning. There will also be an opportunity to rise to the next top positions. Graduates / Post‌ Graduates can apply in the specified sections. Final appointments will be made based on the talent shown in the test and interview.

CMS‌

Combined Medical Services (CMS) is a great opportunity for those who want to qualify in government service after completing MBBS. Those selected under this scheme are required to work in hospitals belonging to the Center. Join the ranks of Junior Medical Officer and gradually reach higher levels.

Selection Procedure: First the computer based test is performed. 500 marks for this. There are two papers. 250 marks per paper. Each paper comes with 120 questions. Each has its time of 2 hours. All questions are objective. The interview for those who qualify will be for one hundred marks.

Eligibility: MBBS pass. Those who are late in the course can also apply.

Total vacancies: 687. Of these, 314 are in the Central Health Service, 300 are Assistant Divisional Officers in Railways and 73 are General Duty Medical Officers in New Delhi Municipal Offices.

Age: Not to exceed 32 years as on 1st August 2022. People born before August 2, 1990 are ineligible.

Examination Fee: Rs.200. Women, SC, ST, Divyangs do not have to pay the fee.
