University of Madras Admission Notification 2016-17

University of Madras, Tamilnadu has announced notification for admission into various post graduate, M.Phil, PG Diplomas, Diploma and Certificate programmes for the academic year 2016-17. The university is following choice based credit system.

Courses / Disciplines: M.Sc, MA, M.Phil, Diploma programmes in the disciplines of Arts, Sciences, Management, Languages, Humanities and other disciplines.

Interested candidates can apply online only through the website of University of Madras. Selection of the candidates will be through entrance examination to be conducted by University of Madras. Following are last dates for online applications:

1) PG and M.Phil courses: 15 June 2016
2) Diploma and PG Diploma courses: 29 July 2016.

University of Madras Degree, PG and Diploma Programmes 2014

University of Madras, Chennai has announced notification for admissions into PG and Degree courses under distance education mode for the academic year 2014.

1. Post Graduate programmes : MBA, MA, M.Com and M.Sc.
Eligibility : Gradation in relevant branch.
Duration of course : 2 years.

2. Degree programmes : BA, B.Sc, B.Com, BBA and BCA.
Eligibility : Passed in Intermediate.
Duration of course : 3 years.

3. Certificate programmes – Degree in any branch. Duration : 3 to 12 months.

4. Diploma programmes – Degree / PG / Diploma. Duration : One year.

Eligible candidates should apply to the Registrar, Institute of Distance Education, University of Madras, Chepauk, Chennai – 600 005 duly filled in application form and relevant enclosures.
