Thiruvalluvar University – PG, M.Phil and Ph.D Programmes 2015

Thiruvalluvar University, Vellore is inviting applications from eligible candidates for admissions into PG and Ph.D programmes for the academic session 2015-16. The application fee is Rs. 500 for Ph.D and Rs. 200 (for other courses) in the form of DD drawn in favour of The Registrar, Thiruvalluvar University, Vellore and payable at Vellore which should be enclosed along with application form.

1. MA – Tamil, English, Economics.
2. M.Sc – Zoology, Chemistry, Maths and Biotechnology.
3. M.Com
Duration of courses : 2 years.
Eligibility : Must have Graduation in relevant branch.

4. M.Phil – Tamil, English, Economics, Zoology, Chemistry, Biotechnology and Maths.
Duration of programme : 2 years.
Eligibility : Masters Degree in relevant discipline.

5. Ph.D – Tamil, English, Economics, Zoology, Chemistry, Biotechnology and Maths.
Duration of programme : 3 to 4 years.
Eligibility : Masters Degree in relevant discipline.

The selection will be made through entrance test. Duly filled in application form along with relevant documents and fee DD should reach the Registrar, Thiruvalluvar University, Serkkadu, Vellore, Tamil Nadu – 632 115. Last date for the receipt of of filled in application form is 15th July, 2015 for PG and 30th July, 2015 for M.Phil and Ph.D courses.

Thiruvalluvar Univerisity, Serkkadu (Vellore, Tamil Nadu) has rolled out notification for admission into Post Graduate Programmes for the academic year 2011-2012. Admission to Post Graduate (PG) programmes at Arts and Science College (PG Extension Centre) at Kallakurichi in Villupuram District also will be conducted through this notification. The sale of applications forms for the PG admissions at above institutions already started from 27th June 2011. Following are details of programs and application procedure:

Post Graduate Programs at Thiruvalluvar University:

1. M.A. Tamil / English / Economics
2. M.Sc. Zoology / Chemistry / Mathematics / Biotechnology

PG Programs at Villupuram PG Extension Centre:

1. M.Com
2. M.Sc. Mathematics/ Chemistry

Interested candidates can download application forms from the website www.thiruvalluvaruniversity.ac.in . Filled in forms should be sent to ‘The Registrar, Thiruvalluvar University, Serkkadu, Vellore- 632 106’ along with a DD for Rs. 200 (Rs. 100 for S/ ST candidates) drawn in favour of ‘The Registrar, Thiruvalluvar University, payable at Vellore.
