Mock tests or practice tests will help the candidates to get ready for the real time examinations. Candidates can assess themselves through mock tests for any exam. The GATE mock practice tests are available on the IIT Guwahati website at www.gate.iitg.ac.in .

Exam Schedule:

GATE 2018 will be held on 3rd, 4th, 10th and 11th February 2018 across the country. The exam will be completely online. GATE is for admission into M.Tech, Integrated Ph.D, Ph.D courses. Several PSU companies recruit management trainees / engineers based on GATE scores.

Mock Tests

GATE mock tests are available for the following branches: Aerospace engineering, agricultural engineering, architecture and planning, biotechnology, civil, chemical, computer science and information technology, chemistry, electronics and communication, ecology and evolution, physics etc.

On Exam day:

Be cool and calm on exam day. Be aware of the exam center and reach it at least 30 minutes prior to the exam. Check all the necessary stationary. It is always better to revise only important points on the exam day. Do not go for new topics.

Testbook GATE 2015 Free Online Mock Tests

A test preparation website www.testbook.com has informed that the portal is conducting a free mock test for GATE 2015 candidates on 25th January 2015. The test will be conducted at free of cost in two sessions from 9 AM to 12 PM and 2 PM to 5 PM.

The mock GATE 2015 examination will help the students to assess themselves in respective subjects. The mock test will be held in the disciplines of Electronics and Communications Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science and Information Technology and Electrical Engineering.

Candidates can register for free mock test through the website www.testbook.com. You need not pay any thing for this test. Paid test series also available for the interested candidates.

There are attractive prizes and awards for the top scorers in paid mock tests. The GATE examination is going to be held completely online from this year. The candidates can obtain the details from any IIT and GATE websites.
