SIMS Pune MBA Admissions 2012-13 for Armed Forces Personnel

Symbiosis Institute of Management Studies, Pune, Maharashtra has announced notification for admission into Master of Business Administration (MBA) for the year 2012-13. MBA is a two year full time program with 4 semesters. The specializations offered includes Marketing, Operations, Information Systems, Finance, HRM, International Business and Information Systems. Symbiosis International University will conduct SNAP 2012 to short list the candidates for MBA programme. Following are details of eligibility and application procedure:

Eligibility requirements: Applicants should have Graduation in any discipline. It should be full-time bachelor’s level degree programme with at least 50 percent marks. Selection process consists of following stages: All India Symbiosis National Aptitude Test for post graduates (SNAP), Registration for SIMS (November – January). Shortlisted candidates have to appear for personality assessment including two group exercises, personal interview and psychometric evaluation.

SIMS is offering 90 percent of seats for Dependents of Armed Forces Personnel and 10 percent seats for Civilians with industry sponsorship. SNAP score is mandatory for SIMS admissions. SNAP 2011- SIBM Symbiosis National Aptitude Test

Symbiosis Institute Business Management is a prestigious corporate Business School in the country. It was initially established in Pune, Maharashtra and has been expanded to Bangalore and Dubai. Symbiosis Institute (SIBM) has released notification for admission to various Management Programmes offered from the academic year 2012-13. SNAP 2011 Examination Structure: The SNAP is a online test which consist of 4 sections. These are:

1) General English
2) Quantitative Aptitude and Data Interpretation
3) Analytical – Logical Reasoning and
4) General Awareness

Total question paper of SNAP will be for 150 questions and carry 180 marks. Each question in Logical Reasoning section carry 2 marks. Eligible and interested candidates can pay the registration fee through Axis Bank branches and apply online. Candidates have to register online through SIBM website www.snaptest.org.
