SIBM Bangalore MBA Admissions 2011-13

Symbiosis Institute of Business Management (SIBM) Bangalore – a unit of Symbiosis International University, Pune issued notification for admission to Full Time MBA course for the year 2011-13. Specialisations offered at SIBM-B are Finance, Marketing, Operations and Human Resources Management. This is two year compulsory residential programme. After successful completion the program Symbiosis International University, Pune awards the MBA degree to all the students.Total intake of the programme is 150 students. Following are other details.

Eligibility Requirements: Applicant must be a graduate in any discipline / subject with minimum 50 percent marks. Those candidates acquiring degree examination through part time / distance learning / correspondence / open school / externally are not eligible. THose appearing their final year exams through regular mode can apply.

Selection Process: Selection of the students to MBA is based on the cumulative performance in SNAP Test 2010 + GD and PI. Past Academic Record and Work Experience aso will be considered. GD and PI will be conducted in Bangalore and Pune. Work experience of less than 1 year will not be taken into consideraion.

Application Process: Interested candidates have to apply for SNAP Test 2010 and SIBM-B separately. You can register for SNAP Test 2010 through www.www.snaptest.org . The registration process has already begun for SNAP Test. Later, you can register for SIBM Bangalore by using SNAP ID and Password. Symbiosis National Aptitude Test – SNAP

Symbiosis International University is highly prestigious institute for Management courses in India. Symbiosis conducts national level entrance test for admission to various courses. The test is named as SNAP Test (Symbiosis National Aptitude Test). The score are considered for admission to all full time courses offered by Symbiosis. SNAP Test structure has following topics, weightage and marks. Total duration of the test is 120 minutes. The test will be in objective multiple choice type. Each question will have 4 responses from which right answer has to be marked. Wrong answer will attract 25 percent of the marks allotted for the question. Following are four sections of the test:

1. General English: Reading Comprehension, Verbal Reasoning, Verbal Ability: 40 questions and 40 marks
2. Quantitative, Data Interpretation and Data Sufficiency: 40 questions and 40 marks
3. General Awareness: General Knowledge, Current Affairs, Business Scenario: 40 questions and 40 marks
4. Analytical and Logical Reasoning: 60 questions and 60 marks

SNAP- 2010-11 Notification has been released. Interested candidates can register online through www.snaptest.org. Following are important dates:

1. SNAP Registration Closes on 26th November 2010
2. Payment Closes on 27th November 2010
3. Admit Card Live on 7th December, 2010 to 19th December, 2010
4. SNAP Test 19th December 2010 (Time: 2.00 pm to 4.00 pm)
5. SNAP Test Result 12th January 2011
