Government of Andhra Pradesh has postponed Grama Sachivalayam and ward sachivalayam recruitment exams scheduled in the second week of August 2020. The news was shared on twitter by Commissioner, Panchayat Raj Department, GK Dwivedi. The new exams dates with schedules will be released soon by the Government. About 11 lakhs candidates are eagerly waiting for Sachivalayam exams.

GS / VS Exam. in A.P. – It is to inform all concerned that due to COVID-19, GS/VS Recruitment Exams. are NOT being conducted in 2nd week of August 2020 as announced earlier. Fresh dates / schedule will be announced in due course.

New Dates for Sachivalayam Exams:

The exams may not be conducted in August due to covid situation. As all the exams and entrance tests are scheduled in September, Sachivalayam exams also likely to be held in September 2020. The new exam dates will be released the PR and Municipal Administration departments as per the directions of AP Government.

AP Grama Sachivalayam Exams in June and Postings by August 2020 – Reports

It has been reported in the media that the written exams for AP Grama / Ward Sachivalayam recruitment 2020 is likely to be held in June 2020. Government is contemplating to fill the Panchayat Secretaries vacancies as they become crucial in containing corona virus at the village level. The details of the exam dates and mode of exam are yet to be ascertained by the Government authorities.

AP Government has postponed written exams of Grama / Ward Sachivalayam due to lockdown and local body elections. The exams were previously scheduled in April 2020. About 11 lakhs candidates have applied for various posts.
