MSIT Program Mock Test of GAT – Conducted by IIIT Hyderabad and JNTUH

IIIT Hyderabad, JNTU Hyderabad, Kakinada, Anantapur and SVU Tirupati are jointly conducting MSIT (Master of Science in Information Technology). The course has been excellent with almost 100 percent placement in all the campuses. The admission to the above course consists of online test, GRE / TOEFL scores and various other requirements.

Mock Test:

Students can appear for online mock test on the www.msitprogram.net OR www.cbexams.com . Candidates need to enter their email id for taking the mock test and login to the test.

Important Points to Note:

1) The online MSIT will consist of 90 multiple choice questions and 1 essay writing to be answered in 150 minutes.

2) The Online test has three sections. Section I, Section II & Section III.

3) Section I – CRITICAL READING. This section assesses your ability on reading comprehension & analytical and logical thinking.
Reading Comprehension – 2 passages with 4 questions each.
Analytical & Logical Reasoning – 22 Multiple choice questions.

4) Section II – QUANTITATIVE ABILITY – This section consists of 40 questions which assesses your Quantitative (Mathematical) Ability.

5) Section III – WRITING – This section assesses your verbal ability and English comprehension.
Verbal Ability – 20 Multiple choice questions.
Essay Writing – 1 Essay topic to write

Each question is followed by 4 or 5 options. Choose the option that is most appropriate. CLICK on the circle adjacent to it.

All questions carry equal marks except Essay Writing which carries 10 marks. There is no negative marking. Your scores will be reported as Scaled Scores ranging between 200 – 800 for each section.

SSN SASE – CMU MSIT Admissions 2012-13

SSN School of Advanced Software Engineering (SASE), one of the reputed technical institution in the country has announced admission notification 2012-13 for MSIT Degree with specialization in Software Engineering. The course is conducted in collaboration with Carnegie Mellon University (CMU), USA. SSN SASE is and established and founded by Dr. Shiv Nadar, Chairman of HCL Technologies. The MSIT (Software Engineering) programme is a full time residential course. Duration of the programme is one and half years. The SSN – SASE is known for excellent teaching practices, infrastructure, materials and methodology. The School is also providing good placements for the successful candidates. Here are details of eligibility, selection and application procedure:

Eligibility Requirements: Candidates must be Graduates or Post Graduates in engineering or MCA with minimum 70 percent marks. They should have valid GRE score and TOEFL score by February 2012. Candidates with relevant industrial experience will be given priority. Those in the final semester / year of their qualifying examination are also eligible to apply. Selection of the candidates will be based on past academic performance, TOEFL and GRE scores, and other procedures including critical essay, recommendation letters, work experience etc. All the eligible candidates will be called for Interviews. The interviews will be conducted by the faculty of SSN SASE. Those shortlisted from SSN interviews will be called for a joint interview to be conducted by the faculty of SSN SASE and Carnegie Mellon University, USA. These interviews will be held at Chennai. All the successfully admitted candidates will be offered a letter of admission by CMU. Students have to pursue first six months of the course at SSN and next six months at CMU, USA. The MSIT degree will be conferred by Carnegie Mellon University, USA.

After filling the form and other necessary materials, it should be scanned and sent ot admissions@sase.ssn.edu.in in the PDF format.
