AIIMS New Delhi Entrance Examination – 2013 for MBBS Admissions

All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi is conducting Entrance Examination – 2013 for admission into MBBS course for the academic year 2013. Entrance test will be held on 1st June, 2013 at the centre of Ahmedabad, Bhopal, Chennai, Bhubaneswar, Bangaluru, Chandigarh, Dehradun, Guwahati, Jodhpur, Hyderabad, Delhi, Jammu, Kochi, Lucknow, Mumbai, Kolkata, Patna and Raipur.

Qualification : Passed in Intermediate with Chemistry, Physics and Biology subjects.
Age : Minimum 17 years.
Mode of selection : Entrance test.
Duration of course : Four years.
Application fee : Rs. 1000 which should be paid either by credit / debit card / challan.

Application procedure : Candidates are required to apply online through website : www.aiimsexams.org. Opening date for the online registration is 25th February, 2013. Closing date for the submission of online application is 24th March, 2013.

EAMCET 2012 Medical Counseling for MBBS and BDS Admissions

The tentative dates and schedule for EAMCET 2012 Medical Counseling has been announced by the authorities. The first phase of Medical and Agriculture counseling is likely to be held between 20th – 27th July 2012. About 4950 MBBS seats and 1870 Dental (BDS) seats are available in 37 Medical Colleges and 21 Dental Colleges respectively.

There is tough competition for MBBS seats in Andhra Pradesh. You can check EAMCET 2011 medical last ranks / cut offs to estimate the chances of securing a seat in MBBS or BDS. 83686 (85.57 percent) candidates were qualified in EAMCET 2012 Medicine stream. About 4606 candidates did not pass in Intermediate but qualified in EAMCET 2012 Medical stream.

About 90917 candidates were appeared for EAMCET 2012 in Medical and Agriculture stream. Out of these, 83686 candidates were declared qualified for attending counseling. The detailed counseling schedule will be announced by NTR University of Health Sciences, Vijayawada on behalf of APSCHE. The Web Counseling process for Medical stream consists of stages such as certificate verification, entry of web options, online seat allotment, download of allotment order and reporting at the allotted college.
