KEA – CET 2012 Casual Vacancy Rounds – Online Seat Allotment

Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA), Bangalore an organization of Government of Karnataka has issued notification for CET 2012 Online Seat Allotment through Casual Vacancy Round Schedule. The candidates who have exercised choice 2 and choice 3 after the Admission Round seat allotment and those who have not exercised their options or did not get any seats can participate in Casual Vacancy Round Schedule.

All the seats remain vacant after the admission round and those have cancelled and did not report in the allotted seats will be filled through Casual Vacancy Round Counseling Schedule. The opening seat matrix will be available on the website on 3rd August 2012.

Interested candidates can exercise their options from 3rd August to 5th August 2012 from 11-30 AM to 7 PM. Seat allotments will be announced on 8th August 2012. Candidates those allotted seats should report at the allotted college on 13th August 2012.

There will be a stage 2 Casual Vacancy Round from 16th August 2012. All the seats unfilled under various categories will be filled through this round. Options entry will start from 16th August and will close on 18th August 2012. Seats will be allotted on 21st August 2012 and candidates should report at the allotted college on 25th August 2012. Karnataka 12th Class- Second PUC Results 2012 by KEA

Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) will announce II PUC (Class 12) Results 2012 on kea.kar.nic.in , examresults.net , karnatakaeducation.net , results.KarnatakaEducation.net , schools9.com etc. You can also obtain Second PUC results 2012 through SMS by sending KAR12 REGISTRATION NUMBER to 56263. For example: KAR12 332244 . Results will come out on 23rd May 2012.

It is estimated that about 7 lakh students appear for Second PUC Examinations in Karnataka. The Department of Pre-University Education (PUE), Government of Karnataka deals with the First Year and Second Year Pre-University Examinations (Class 11 and Class 12 Examinations) in Karnataka.

Those qualified in PUC II / 12th Class examinations can join in UG programmes in the disciplines of Engineering, Medicine, Pharmacy, Agriculture. They can pursue BE / B.Tech, MBBS, BDS, B.Pharmacy and various 5 Year Integrated Programmes offered by Recognised Colleges and Universities.
