JNU – Visvesvaraya Ph.D Scheme for Electronics and IT 2015

Applications are invited by the School of Computer and Systems Sciences, Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi for admission in full-time Ph.D. under the Visvesvaraya Fellowship Scheme in the following research areas for the academic session 2016.

Research areas : Cloud Computing, Computer Vision, Data Mining, Computer Network, Data Warehouse, Embedded Systems , Image Processing, Databases, Machine Learning, MEMS, Parallel and Distributed Systems, Pattern Recognition, Network Security, Programing Languages, VLSI, Web Mining, Software Engineering and Wireless Network.

Applicants must have M.Tech. / M.Phil. / ME in Computer Science / IT / Electronics. The selection will be made through written test of basic mathematical ability and knowledge in computer science.

Candidates are required to apply online through website : http://www.jnu.ac.in. Closing date for online registration is 2nd December, 2015. Written test and interview will be held on 17th and 18th December, 2015 respectively.

JNU – CBEE for M.Sc and M.Tech Programmes 2015

Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) is conducting Combined Biotechnology Entrance Examination (JNUEE) for admission into M.Sc. (Biotechnology), M.Sc.(Agriculture) Biotechnology / M.V.Sc. and M.Tech. (Biotechnology) Programmes for the academic session 2015-16.

1. M.Sc. in Biotechnology – Eligibility : Graduation Physical, Biological, Agricultural, Veterinary and Fishery Sciences, Pharmacy, Engineering / Technology, 4 year B.Sc. (Physician Assistant Course) or Medicine (MBBS) or BDS with minimum 55 percent marks.

2. M.Sc.(Agri.) Biotechnology / M.V.Sc – Eligibility : B.Sc with minimum 55 percent marks in aggregate.

3. M.Tech. in Biotechnology – Eligibility : B.Tech / BE in Chemical Engineering, Biochemical Engineering, Industrial Biotechnology, Leather Technology, Chemistry / Biotechnology, Biomedical Engineering, Chemical Technology, B. Pharma, or M.Sc. in Biotechnology, Life Sciences, Botany, Zoology, Biochemistry, Microbiology, Genetics, Biophysics, Microbial Genetics and Bioinformatics with minimum first class marks.
