Jawaharlal Nehru University, also popular as JNU has released notification for admission into Ph.D programme in various disciplines for the academic year 2015 – 16. JNU is the best university in India for various research programmes.

Disciplines : International studies, social sciences, humanities, natural sciences, molecular medicine, biotechnology, physical sciences, system sciences, languages, law and governance, Sanskrit studies etc.

Duration of the course is three to four years. Extension of the course duration may be possible depending upon the progress of the research work.

Selection of the candidates for the Ph.d will be based on the performance in written examinations and personal interviews. Eligible and interested candidates can apply online through the JNU website www.jnu.ac.in .
