JEE Main Score Cards 2016 – Cut Offs and OMR Sheets

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will be releasing JEE Mains Score Cards / Marks on 27 April 2016. About 12 lakhs candidates were appeared for the JEE Mains (online / offline) exams held in March / April 2016.

The JEE Main score cards / marks will be available on the JEE Main website at www.jeemain.nic.in . There is anxiety on the cut off marks for general category candidates. CBSE has set 113 marks, 115 marks and 105 marks out of 360 as cut off for the year 2013, 2014 and 2015 respectively. This year the cut off marks are likely to increase as the question paper was easy.

2 lakhs candidates will be shortlisted for JEE Advanced examination based on the JEE Main rankings after due weightage to Intermediate / + 2 marks. Official key and OMR sheets of the JEE Main exam are also available on the website.

Several candidates have challenged the key released by the CBSE. The CBSE board has met on 24th and 25th April 2016 to discuss these but there is still suspense on the final decision of the board over those questions.

CSAB Counseling 2013 – Announcement for OBC and PWD Candidates

Central Seat Allocation Board (CSAB) has issued an announcement for the attention of all the candidates reporting to CSAB Counseling 2013. All the candidates should note that it is mandatory for OBC candidates to submit OBC certificates issued only on or after 1 June 2012. The certificate should be issued by competent authority.

All the persons with disabilities (PWD) candidates will be sent to a medical board at MGM hospital for verification. The doctors will be available between 10 AM – 12 Noon on the counseling dates.

All the PWD candidates must report to the institution before 9-30 AM. The seats of the candidates those failed to report will be cancelled. Medical Board will be closed on Sundays.
