JEE Advanced Exam Structure – Subject wise Analysis

Here we are giving JEE Advanced Exam Pattern. There will be only 60 questions in the JEE Advanced examination conducted by IIT Board. There are two papers and each paper will have 60 questions. Duration of each paper is 3 hours and maximum marks are 180 per each paper.

Part I – Physics

Section – I : Only One Option Correct Type – 1 to 10 Questions
Section – II : One or More Options Correct Type – 11 to 15 Questions
Section – III : Integer Value Correct Type – 16 to 20 Questions

Part II – Chemistry

Section – I : Only One Option Correct Type – 21 to 30 Questions
Section – II : One or More Options Correct Type – 31 to 35 Questions
Section – III : Integer Value Correct Type – 36 to 40 Questions

Part III – Maths
Section – I : Only One Option Correct Type – 41 to 50 Questions
Section – II : One or More Options Correct Type – 51 to 55 Questions
Section – III : Integer Value Correct Type – 56 to 60 Questions

Part I – Physics

Section – I : One or More Options Correct Type – 1 to 8 Questions

Section – II : Paragraph Type – 9 to 16 Questions. (4 Paragraphs x Each 2 Q = 8 Qsns)
(This section contains 4 paragraphs each describing theory, experiment, data etc. Eight questions
relate to four paragraphs with two questions on each paragraph. Each question of a paragraph
has only one correct answer among the four choices (A), (B), (C), (D).)

Section – III : Matching Listing Type – 17 to 20 Questions (4 Matchings)
(This section contains 4 multiple choice questions. Each question has matching lists. The codes
for the lists have choices (A), (B), (C), (D) out of which only one is correct.)

Part II – Chemistry

Section – I : One or More Options Correct Type -21 to 28 Questions
Section – II : Paragraph Type —- 29 to 36 Questions (4 Paragraphs x Each 2 Q = 8 Qsns)

JEE Advanced Solved Question Papers 2013

JEE Advanced is an entrance examination for admission into Graduate Engineering programmes in IITs. Candidates for JEE Advanced will be shortlisted based on the merit in JEE Main exam and marks / grades in State / Central Board Examinations.
