JEE Advanced Paper 1 Exam Weightage and Pattern

Following is the JEE Advanced Exam Pattern as released by JEE Board. The question paper contains two papers. Following is the exam scheme of Paper – I.

Paper I
Time: 3 Hours No of Questions : 60 Max. Marks: 180

Part I – Physics

Section – I: Only One Option Correct Type – 1 to 10 Questions
Section – II: One or More Options Correct Type – 11 to 15 Questions
Section – III: Integer Value Correct Type – 16 to 20 Questions

Part II – Chemistry

Section – I : Only One Option Correct Type – 21 to 30 Questions
Section – II : One or More Options Correct Type – 31 to 35 Questions
Section – III : Integer Value Correct Type – 36 to 40 Questions

Part III – Maths

Section – I: Only One Option Correct Type – 41 to 50 Questions
Section – II: One or More Options Correct Type – 51 to 55 Questions
Section – III: Integer Value Correct Type – 56 to 60 Questions.

JEE Advanced Subject Wise Marks of First and Last Rankers 2013

Following are details of first and last ranked candidates of JEE Advanced 2013 for admission into IITs in various Engineering (B.Tech) programmes for the academic year 2013-14. The Aggregate marks for all the admitted candidates is estimated at 360. Following are aggregate and subject wise cut offs for first and last rankers of JEE Advanced 2013. These are given for Chemistry, Mathematics and Physics along with Aggregate scores.

All the candidates were given chance for online filling of choices. The First Rankers in JEE Advanced 2013 got 332 (Common Merit List) marks while the last ranker in the same category got 156 marks. Following are marks for other categories:

1) OBC: First ranker – 314 and Last Ranker – 113
2) SC: First ranker – 279 and Last Ranker – 63
3) ST: First ranker – 257 and Last Ranker – 63
4) PD Candidate: First ranker – 281 and Last ranker – 63.
