CU Jammu MA, MSc Admission Notification 2011-12

Central University of Jammu (CUJ), Jammu has announced admission notification 2011 for M.A. English, M.A / M.Sc. Applied Mathematics and MA Economics courses for the academic year 2011-12. Candidates have to apply in the prescribed format available on the University website at www.cujammu.in. Candidates should have passed in Graduation with minimum 50 percent (45 percent for SC and ST candidates) marks. Following are details of programmes, course specific eligibility and application procedure:

1) MA English (Comparative Literature): 30 seats; Applicants should have passed in Graduation with English Literature as one of the subjects.
2) MA / M Sc Applied Mathematics: 30 seats; Applicants should have passed in Graduation with Mathematics / Applied Mathematics as one of the subjects.
3) MA (Economics): 30 seats; Candidates should have passed in Graduation with Economics as one of the subjects.

Candidates can download application form from University website www.cujammu.in. The downloaded application form along with a Demand Draft of Rs. 500/- drawn in favor of OSD Administration, Central University of Jammu, payable at Jammu should be sent to the concerned office so as to reach on or before 20th September 2011. List of selected candidates will be displayed on the university website on 26th September 2011.

University of Kashmir M.Phil and Ph.D Admissions 2011-12

Faculty of Applied Sciences and Technology, University of Kashmir is inviting applications for admission into M.Phil and Ph.D. Programmes in the departments / disciplines of Computer Science, Electronics and Home Science for the academic year 2011-12. Interested candidates can submit online applications through www.kashmiruniversity.net . Following are other details of the programmes such as eligibility, selection process and application procedure:

Programmes: M.Phil and Ph.D. (Electronics / Computer Science / Home Science); Selection of the candidates will be based on the performance in Entrance Examination. Details of the entrance examination will be displayed on the website later. Interested candidates can apply online through official website. The online application process starts from 13th August 2011.

Candidates have to take print out of the online generated application form along with pay-in-slip. They have to deposit an application fee of Rs 250/- under account No. SB -53049, in any of the Financial Branches of Jammu and Kashmir Bank. The fee receipt and application should be sent to the concerned department so as to reach on or before 20th August 2011. Those candidates who have already applied in response to earlier notification dated 27-08-2010, need not apply again.
