IIT Delhi Small Industries Management Program 2011

Indian Institute of Technology (IIT Delhi) has announced notification for admission into Small Industries Management Program (SIMP). The programme is targeted at fresh and young graduates, owner – managers, entrepreneurs, senior and middle level managers of small businesses. Candidates with science and technical background are preferable. Candidates with other educational backgrounds are also encouraged to apply. This is the 19th Small Industries Management Program (SIMAP) to be started from 28th November 2011.

Completed application forms should be sent along with relevant copies of certificates to ‘SIDBI Program Coordinator, Department of Management Studies, Vishwakarma Bhawan, I.I.T. Delhi, Hauz Khas, New Delhi – 110016’. You can also apply online through above mentioned website.

The program is being sponsored and subsidized by Small Industries Development Bank of India, Govt. of India. The fee for the whole program is Rs.24,500 and Rs.28,500 for sponsored candidates. Fee should be paid in the form of DD draw favoring Registrar, IIT Delhi. Last date for the receipt of completed applications is 18th November 2011.

BCIL-BIITP Bio Informatics Industrial Training Program 2010-11

Here is an excellent opportunity for Engineering and Science Graduates and Post Graduates. Biotech Consortium India Limited (BCIL), functioning under the aegis of Department of Biotechnology (DBT), Govt. of India is conducting a Bio-Informatics Industrial Training Program (BIITP) for the year 2010-11. The notification is issued on 12th March 2011. This program will be very much useful for those aspiring to settle in bio-informatics industry. Selected candidates will be paid a stipend along with training in a registered company. Following are details of stipend, selection procedure and application process:

Bio-Informatics Industrial Training Program (BIITP): Eligibility for the BCIL- BIITP training program is B.Tech./ B.E./ M.Sc./ M.Tech/ Advanced Post Graduate Diploma in Bioinformatics. Candidates qualified in BINC examination also eligible. Selected candidates will be trained for six months in BCIL registered biotechnology and bioinformatics company. They will be paid a stipend of Rs. 8000 per month during the training program. The program is also useful for the companies they can absorb the talented candidates after the completion of the training.

Application Procedure: Interested candidates can apply online and application forms are available at http://www.bcil.nic.in/biitp2010-11/index.asp . The form has to be filled online only. Computer generated application forms have to be sent to BCIL along with a DD for Rs. 250 drawn in favour of ‘Biotech Consortium India Limited’ payable at New Delhi. You must write your application ID, Name, Date of Birth and Mobile No. on the reverse of the DD. Attested photo copies of all marks sheets and certificates also should be sent along with application.
