CBSE – JEE Main 2014 Online Applications from 15 November

The CBSE Apex Board has issued JEE (Main) 2014 notification. The JEE Main will be conducted by the JEE Apex Board for admission to Undergraduate Engineering Programmes in NITs, IITs, other Centrally Funded Technical Institutions etc. JEE Main is also eligibility for JEE Advanced examination. Last date for the submission of filled in applications is 26 December 2013.

Details of JEE Main Examination:
JEE (Main) – 2014 shall have two papers. Paper-1 is for B.E. / B.Tech and Paper-2 is meant for B.Arch. / B. Planning courses.

Eligibility: Applicants should have passed in Class 12th Exam in 2012 or 2013. Those who are in Class 12th Exam or any equivalent qualifying examination in 2014 are also eligible to apply.

Application Process: Candidates have to apply online only through JEE (Main)-2014 website.
Starting date for online application: 15 November 2013
Last date for Online application:26 December 2013
Date of Offline Examination (Paper 1 & 2): 06 April 2014
Date of Online Examination (For Paper-1): 09, 11, 12 & 19.04.2014

JEE Main Practice Question Papers with Answers

JEE Main 2013 is the new entrance examination for admission into Engineering courses in IITs, NITs, and several other reputed technical institutions. Hence candidates need proper understanding of the questions being asked in Mathematics, Chemistry and Physics.

Here we are giving JEE Main model question papers for the practice. Two question papers are given in the file attached at the end of this post. Key for both the papers is also provided.

(Q. Nos. 1-8): Have only one correct option. You will be awarded 3 marks for correct answer and -1 mark (minus one mark) for wrong answer.
(Q. Nos. 9-12): Have one or more than one correct option. You will be awarded 4 marks for correct answer and -1 mark (minus one mark)
for wrong answer.
(Q. Nos. 13-18): These Questions are comprehension type, with only one correct option. You will be awarded 4 marks for correct answer and -1 mark for wrong answer.
(Q. Nos. 19 – 20): These Questions in column-1 are to be matched with the answers in the column- 2. These may have one or more correct
options. You will be awarded 8 marks for correct answer. There is no negative marking.
