JEE Main 2014 Ranks Released for all Boards

JEE Main 2014 ranks have been announced by the JEE Main conducting authorities. The results can be accessed through http://cbseresults.nic.in/jee_main/jee_cbse_2014.htm . Candidates can get their ranks through entering roll number and date of birth on the website.

It is observed that three students from Andhra Pradesh have secured ranks in top 10. These are D. Sri Lekha (2nd Rank), Sindhuja (7th Rank) and Maganti Nikhil Krishna (9th Rank).

Students can get details of centralized counseling from the website. Detailed schedule for counseling will be displayed on the website.

JEE Main is for admission into B.Tech / BE courses in NITs, IIIT, and other centrally funded institutions and deemed universities. Several corporate institutions also admit students based on the JEE Main rankings.

JEE Main Marks and Ranks Announcement 2014

The CBSE has announced JEE Main 2014 Marks and ranks are expected to be released on 7th July 2014. Results can be accessed through cbseresults.nic.in or jeemain.nic.in . Following are the cut off marks for various categories of students:

Common merit cut off: 115
OBC Cut Off: 74
SC Cut Off: 53
ST Cut Off: 47

More than 13 lakhs candidates appeared for JEE Main 2014 examination across the country. About 80 percent candidates appeared for the examination. Candidates those in the first 1.5 lakhs will be eligible for JEE Advanced examination.

Students should also secure top 20 ranks in Intermediate / 10+2 exams to be eligible for JEE Advanced examination. JEE Main ranks will be announced after calculating JEE main score and top 20 percentile marks in Intermediate.
