IGNOU B.Ed Admissions for January 2013 Session and Previous Papers

Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU), India’s leading open university has announced admission notification for B.Ed Programme to be commenced from January 2013 Session. The IGNOU will conduct an entrance examination. The previous 5 years question papers of B.Ed entrance test (2007 – 2011) will be issued by IGNOU along with Prospectus at free of cost.

Eligibility: Applicants should have Graduation or Post Graduation in any discipline with minimum 50 percent marks. Candidates must have two years full time teaching experience on temporary or permanent basis as at Primary / Graduate / PG level in a recognised school or college.

Interested candidates can download application forms from the IGNOU website at www.ignou.ac.in . Applications forms are also available with the Regional Centers (RC) of IGNOU across the country. Last date for the receipt of completed application forms at concerned Regional Centre is 15th July, 2012. Entrance Examination will be held on 19th August 2012. Cost of application is Rs. 500 at RC Counters and Rs. 550 if obtained by post.

IGNOU Preparatory Course – BPP Admissions 2012

Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU), New Delhi is offering Bachelor Preparatory Programme (BPP) for the candidates who want to pursue Bachelors Programme without 10+2 / Intermediate qualification. Duration of the course is 6 Months and you can complete it within maximum 2 years. There are three streams in the programme. These are Commerce, General Mathematics and Social Sciences.

Course fee is Rs. 850. Applicants should have minimum 18 years and there is no upper age limit. Candidates do not need any formal qualification. The courses available in this programme are: 1. Preparatory Course in Social Sciences 2. Preparatory course in General Mathematics 3. Preparatory course in Commerce. At present, the BPP is offered in Telugu, Oriya, Tamil, Bengali, English, Hindi, Marathi, Malayalam and Gujarati.
