IGNOU M.Ed Admissions and Entrance Test 2013

Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU), New Delhi is offering M.Ed (Master of Education) Programme for the year 2013-14. Duration of the course is 2 years. Admission to this programme will be through Entrance Examination only. The course is jointly conducted by DEC and NCTE (National Council of Teacher Education) in distance education mode. Following are details of eligibility, course fee and application procedure:

Eligibility: Applicants should have B.Ed. with minimum 55 percent marks. They need at least 2 years teaching or professional experience after the completion of B.Ed degree. The medium of instruction of M.Ed course is English. IGNOU is likely to start the programme in Hindi medium soon.

The total Programme fee is Rs.36,000. This is the fee for two years. Entire fee should be paid at the time of admission only. Fee should be paid in the form of DD drawn in favour of IGNOU and payable at the city of the Concerned Regional Centre.

Interested candidates can download application forms and prospectus from IGNOU website at www.ignou.ac.in . You can obtain applications from Regional Centers and also by post. Last date for the receipt of completed applications is 15th July 2012.

IGNOU – OPENMAT for MBA Admissions 2013

chool of Management Studies, Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) has announced OPENMAT XXXII (32) and XXXIII (33) notification for admission to MBA Programme under distance mode. OPENMAT is an entrance examination conducted by IGNOU twice in a year. Candidates those qualified in IGNOU OPENMAT can get admission in the following management programmes offered by IGNOU through its RCs and Study centers across the country.

1. Master of Business Management (MBA)
2. Diploma in Management (DIM)
3. PG Diploma in Management (PGDIM)
4. PG Diploma in Human Resource Management (PGDHRM)
5. PG Diploma in Finance Management (PGDFM)
6. PG Diploma in Operations Management (PGDOM)
7. PG Diploma in Marketing Management (PGDMM)

Interested candidates can download application forms from www.ignou.ac.in . Cost of application by hand is Rs. 500. Price of application by post is Rs. 550. Following are important dates for submission of applications and entrance examinations:

1. Last date for submission of application for OPENMAT 32: 15th July 2012. (Entrance Date: 19th August 2012).
2. Last date for OPENMAT 33: 15th December 2012. (Entrance Date: 3rd February 2013).
