EDCET 2013 Notification, Results and Counseling Schedule

The education department authorities in Andhra Pradesh have released Education Common Entrance Test (EDCET 2013) dates for the academic year 2013-14. The Edcet is a popular entrance test in AP as it will allow the candidates to appear for teacher recruitment tests. Following is the tentative schedule for Edcet 2013:

a) Edcet 2013 exam date: 3rd June (Monday)
b) Issue of Edcet notification / advertisement: First week of March
c) Announcement of Edcet results: 21st June

Edcet 2013 Counseling Information:

The APSCHE has also released dates for Edcet 2013 counseling. Here is the tentative scheduel for Edcet admissions 2013:

a) First phase of counseling: 29 July – 7 July
b) Second / Final Phase Counseling: August 1-6

EDCET 2012 Results and Counseling Schedule

The Edcet 2012 results are announced on 26th June 2012. The EDCET 2012 Counseling is likely to commence in the second week of July 2012. The examination was held on 8th June 202 across the state. About 90 percent of the applied candidates appeared for the EDCET 2012 examinations. The EDCET results can be obtained from edcet2012.info , schools9.com or manabadi.com , eenadupratibha.net, sakshieducation.com etc. You can download EDCET 2012 question papers for all subjects and papers from this site.

The EDCET 2012 is aimed at providing admission to B.Ed programmes in Andhra Pradesh. There are 609 B.Ed colleges in Andhra Pradesh. In these, about 60563 seats are available in all the regions. There will be online counseling for admission. Prof N. Venkata Rao is the convener of EDCET 2012. Andhra University is conducting the examination on behalf of APSCHE.

Candidates have to attend for certificate verification with all the relevant original certificates as per the prescribed schedule. There are helpline centers across the state. Seat allotments also will be done in online procedure. Candidates have to report at the allotted college. There is good demand for B.Ed courses as the Govt. of AP is regularly issuing recruitment notifications for teacher posts.
