Hyderabad: EAMCET 2013 candidates are eagerly waiting for the results. Medical candidates are excited to know the last ranks / cut offs of previous counseling. MBBS Last Ranks for Govt / Private – A / Private – B Categories in OU Region Colleges: (Also Check – Last Ranks of AU Region Medical Colleges)

Admission counseling for MBBS courses in Tamil Nadu has commenced on 6th July 2012 (Friday). The medical counseling for 18 Government Medical Colleges and self financed medical colleges addiliated to Tamil Nadu Dr. MGR Medical University has been started from Friday. The Department of Medical Education is conducting admissions for MBBS for the academic year 2012-13.

Counseling will be conducted as per the merit in the Medical Admission Test. Eligible candidates have to attend at the Kilpauk Medical College as per the schedule already announced and also mentioned in the call letter sent to the eligible students.

There are 1823 MBBS seats in all 18 Government Medical Colleges in the state. Apart from these, another 829 MBBS seats are available in private medical colleges. The Directorate of Medical Education will conduct counseling for all the seats. The admission counseling for special category students has already been completed. The Selection Committee is likely to complete the counseling process by 15th July 2012.
