IGNOU Elementary Education Diploma Admissions 2013-14

Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU), New Delhi has announced notification for admission into Elementary Education Diploma Course for the year 2013-14. Duration of the course is two years. Here are more details:

Eligibility: Applicants should have Intermediate or its equivalent with minimum 50 percent marks. They should have at least two years experience at primary / elementary level.

Medium of instruction is English / Hindi. Selection will be based on entrance examination.
Application forms can be downloaded from the website www.ignou.ac.in. Fee is Rs.400 and it has to be paid as DD drawn in favour of IGNOU, New Delhi.

SAIL – School of Nursing Admissions into Diploma in Nursing 2013

Steel Authority of India Limited (SAIL), Jharkhand is inviting applications from eligible candidates for admission into Diploma in General Nursing and Midwifery course for the year 2013. The application fee is Rs. 500 in the form of DD drawn in favour of SAIL, Bokaro Steel Plant, Bokaro which should be enclosed along with application form.

Diploma in General Nursing and Midwifery : 40 seats.
Eligibility : Passed in Intermediate with Science subject.
Age : Between 17 to 23 years.
Duration of course : 3 and 1/2 years.
Mode of selection : Written test and interview.

The completed application from in the prescribed format along with photocopies of relevant documents and fee DD should reach the Principal, School of Nursing and General Hospital,
SAIL, Bokaro Steel Plant, Bokaro, Jharkhand.
