Military Nursing Service B.Sc Nursing Course Admissions – 2018

Military Nursing Service (MNS) has issued notification for admission into four year B.Sc (Nursing) course commencing in 2018 at Colleges of Nursing of Armed Forces Medical Services. Only female candidates are eligible to apply. The candidates will be awarded admission based on the vacancy in each college.

Agreement of Service:

Selected candidates shall execute an agreement / bond to serve in the Military Nursing Service (MNS) for 5 years. On successful completion of Nursing Training (4 years), the candidates will be granted permanent / short service commission in the Military Nursing Service.

CON, AFMC Pune: 30 seats
CON, CH (EC) Kolkata: 20 seats
CON, INHS Asvini: 30 seats
CON, AH (R and R) New Delhi: 30 seats
CON, CH (CC) Lucknow: 30 seats
CON, CH (AF) Bangalore: 20 seats

Eligibility Requirements:

Candidates should have passed in the first attempt, Senior Secondary Examination (10+2) or its equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English with not less than 50 percent marks. Candidates should have physical standards as per the guidelines of the Military Nursing Service.

Selection Procedure:

Selection of the candidates for the B.Sc Nursing course will be based on the performance in written examination of 90 minutes duration to be held in February 2018. The exam will cover questions from General English, Biology, Physics, Chemistry and General Intelligence.

Candidates those qualified in written examination will be called for personal interviews. There will be medical examination for the shortlisted candidates, after the personal interviews.

Swami Dayanand Hospital: 20 seats

UR / OBC candidates: Rs. 1560
SC / ST Candidates: Rs. 810
