ISTD Diploma in Training and Development Admissions 2012

Indian Society for Training and Development (ISTD), New Delhi has announced notification for admission into Diploma Programme in Training and Development (Dip TD) for the Batch to be commenced from January 2012. The program is intended to provide skill formation in learning and training for the persons working in industries, agricultural development programmes, business, administration, defence forces, banks, government departments, public utilities, power plants, health education and other social services, consultancy and voluntary service organizations. Following are details of qualification, selection and application procedure:

ISTD diploma in Training and Development: This is a distance learning program. Duration is 18 months. The course will be delivered in English only. The qualification with suffix ‘Dip TD’ will improve candidate’s chances of career growth in organisations. Eligibility: Applicants should be Graduate of recognized university or its equivalent in any discipline and need a minimum of two years experience. Experience should be in the capacity of an Executive, Administrator, Faculty, Manager, Supervisor, Trainer or HR Practitioner in an organization.

Candidates with Post-Graduate Degree or its equivalent Diploma in Business Management, Personnel Management OR professional qualifications like BE, MBBS, CAIIB, ME, ACA, AICWA, M Ed etc. are also eligible to apply. Armed Forces Officers with NDA /IMA / OTA/ Air Force Academy / Indian Naval Academy training and at least two years working experience also can apply.

Students will be enrolled every Year in January and July batches. Application fee is Rs. Rs 300/- to be paid as DD drawn in favor of ‘ISTD, Diploma Programme’, New Delhi. Course fees is Rs.25,000/- . NCERT International Diploma in Guidance and Counseling 2012

National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT), New Delhi has announced notification for admission into International Diploma Course in Guidance and Counseling for the year 2012. The course is specially designed for the candidates with interest in guidance and counseling and working in the field of education, teaching and social work. Duration of the course is one year. The programme will be administered in distance and online and face-to-face modes and admissions are open to candidates from India, other SAARC and Afro-Asian countries. Candidates from different regions of India will be admitted on regional basis at DEPFE, NIE, New Delhi and Regional Institutes of Education.

Eligibility requirements: Applicants should have any one of the following qualifications: They should be In-service teachers or graduates with teaching degree. OR should be ‘presently not working’ and have graduation with teaching degree and at least two years of teaching or related experience. Candidates with Post Graduation in psychology / education / social work / child development / special education are also eligible to apply. Preference will be given to those candidates with at least one year of teaching or related experience.

Number of seats: Maximum 50 per study centre. Distribution of seats will be as per the rules of the Govt.
