CEED 2016 – Common Entrance Examination for Design

Common Entrance Examination for Design (CEED) is a prestigious qualifying examination for admission into Master of Design (M.Des) programmes at the following academic institutions. The institutions are IISc Bangalore, IIT Bombay, IIT Delhi, IIT Guwahati, IIT Hyderabad and IIT Kanpur. PhD programmes in Design also available at some Institutes. CEED is organized by Indian Institute of Technology Bombay (IIT Bombay).

Programmes: M.Des./ Ph.D.
Eligibility: Candidates should have Bachelors degree in Engineering/ Architecture/ Design/ Interior Design or equivalent (4 years programme after 10 + 2). They should have Professional Diploma in Design (NID / CEPT or equivalent of 4 years programme after 10 + 2).

Candidates with BFA (4 year professional programme after 10 + 2) OR Art (5 year programme after 10th) with one year post qualification professional experience are also eligible. Masters degree in Arts/ Science/ Computer Applications (2 year programme after 10 + 2 + 3) is also eligible qualification.

Application Procedure: Candidates can submit application form online only through the official website. Last date for the submission of online applications is 31 August 2015. Date of CEED – 2015 Examination is 6 December 2015.

National Institute of Design Admissions into B.Des and M.Des Programmes 2014

National Institute of Design has announced notification for admissions into B.Des. and M.Des. Programmes for the academic session 2014-15. The selection will be made through design aptitude test to be held on 10th and 11th January, 2014.

1. Bachelor of Design – Eligibility : Passed in Intermediate or 10 + 2 or its equivalents like AISSCE / IB / ISC during the academic year 2014 – 15.

2. Master of Design – Eligibility : Bachelors Degree during the academic year 2014 – 15.

The completed application form along with photocopies of mark sheets and fed DD for Rs. 1500 drawn in favour of National Institute of Design and payable at Ahmedabad should reach the National Institute of Design. Last date for the receipt of filled in application forn is 21st November, 2014.

Date of Design aptitude test for M. Des is 10th January, 2015. Date of Design aptitude test for B. Des is 11th January, 2015. For any information see website : http://admissions.nid.edu.
