National Institute of Design Admissions 2017-18 into Design Courses

National Institute of Design (NID) has issued notification for admissions into various design programmes for the academic year 2017-18. The applications are invited by NID for the following programmes:

1) Master of Design (M.Des). Duration of the course is 2.5 years. The programme available at NID Ahmedabad, Bengaluru and Gandhinagar campuses.

2) Bachelor of Design (B.Des): Duration is 4 years. The course is available at NID Ahmedabad campus.

3) GDPD (Graduate Diploma Programme in Design): Duration is 4 years. The programme is offered at Vijayawada and NID Kurukshetra.

Selection process consists of Design Aptitude Test (DAT) to be conducted in various stages. The prelims will be held on 8th January 2017 for M.Des, B.Des and GDPD.

Online applications can be submitted through admissions.nid.edu . Last date for the submission of applications is 28 November 2016.

IIT Bombay – UCEED Notification for Design Admissions 2016-17

IIT Bombay has issued notification for admission into UCEED (Undergraduate Common Entrance Exam for Design) for admission into Bachelors in Design for the academic year 2016-17.

Applications are invited by IDC – IIT Bombay for the national level UCEED examination to be conducted on 17 January 2016 across the country for admission into B.Des and Dual Degree B.Des + M. Des.

Students having excellence in creativity, visualisation and problem solving skills are encouraged to apply. The duration of the course is 4 and 5 years.

Candidates should have passed in 12th Class / Intermediate in 2015 or will be appearing for final exams in 2016.

Online registrations will commence from 17th October and closes on 14 November 2015. For more details, candidates can visit the website at www.uceed.in .
