KPMG – NIIT Imperia Tax Training Programs for Professionals

KPMG, a professional services company in association with NIIT Imperia has launched 3 cutting edge advanced Taxation Programs. These will cover study areas such as direct tax, indirect tax and regulatory aspects, including upcoming Direct Tax Code (DTC) and Goods and Services Tax (GST) legislations in India. The programmes are named as 1) Certificate Program in Tax Regulations 2) Advanced Program in Tax Regulations and 3) Diploma in Tax Regulations. All the programmes are primarily designed to meet the growing training needs of professionals in finance, accounting, taxation fields along with other stakeholders.

The above three programs will be offered in 30 NIIT Imperia centers located across 21 major cities in India. Admissions to the programs are presently open and the starter batches will commence in the first week of February 2012. The courses will be very much useful to the taxation students and professionals in the context of tax reforms in India. The programmes will deal with legislative and practical aspects of taxation laws and also prepare the candidates for the practice of new tax regimes. The duration of the certificate programme is one and a half month. Advanced Program in Tax Regulations is a one month programme and will focus interpretation and analysis of laws. Duration of Diploma in Tax Regulations is two and a half month. Those completed the programmes will get certificates jointly by KPMG in India and NIIT imperia.

These institutes earlier offered one and a half month Advanced Certificate Program on IFRS for the benefit of companies and individuals.
